Disk Cleanup
a) Click: Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Cleanup
b) Select Drive C (for the drive you want to cleanup)
c) Click OK. In this example, nearly 60MB of unnecessary files will be deleted. (59,155KB)

MS Windows AND MS Office Updates
INSTALL any needed critical updates (Select Windows Updates from Start Menu). Also, you’ll need to click on “Office Updates” once you’re on the Windows updates screen.

Spybot
1. Go to http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058.html?tag=lst-0-1
2. Download now
3. Open
4. Next
5. “I accept the agreement”, “Next”
6. Click “Next” on each screen and then click “Install”
7. Finish.
8. Now double click on the Spybot icon on your desktop
9. Select English, OK.
10. Check for updates, install them, then click “Check for Problems” (near bottom)

Google Toolbar (to prevent popups)
1. Go to toolbar.google.com
2. Download Google Toolbar
3. Open
4. Agree
5. Disable Advanced Features, Next
6. Next

The google toolbar is now installed and will also show __ blocked

Note: you may have to disable the popup blocker to get WebCT to work properly!
